The deputies will listen to the Minister of Energy Rumen Radev and the Chairman of the Commission for Energy and Water Regulation (KEVR) Ivan Ivanov in connection with the payment of compensation to the people who were left without electricity during the snowfall on November 25 and 26 of this year, according to the adopted program of the National Assembly. The hearing is at the request of the parliamentary group of “Vazrazhdane”, reports BTA.
Parliament is expected to discuss changes in tax laws in a second vote – on accounting, on excise duties and tax warehouses, and the Tax-Insurance Procedure Code.
According to the work program of the National Assembly adopted yesterday, the first reading of the bill on the state budget should have been this week as point 5.
However, after a meeting on Wednesday between the chairman of the budget committee Yordan Tsonev and the finance minister Asen Vasilev, it became clear that the deputies will discuss the plan-account of the state for 2024 next week, as well as the second reading of the remaining tax laws and the so-called small budgets (of the National Health Insurance Fund and the State Social Insurance).
We agreed that the new program for the adoption of the budget should start with the tax laws already adopted by the committee, and then next week to move on to the big budget, the remaining tax laws and the small budgets in the second reading, Asen Vassilev explained to the media in the National Assembly. According to him, the idea is to be able to adopt the big budget before Christmas, so that the state can start the year peacefully.
