“Economic Police” in Sliven carried out an inspection of a farm building intended for raising cows. However, the animals that were declared to the State Fund “Agriculture” were not in the bargain.
A specialized operation was carried out on September 27 by teams of the “Combating economic crime” sector at the Directorate of Internal Affairs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the “Regional Technical Inspectorate” department at the State Fund “Agriculture”-Yambol and was aimed at countering crimes with European funds, the Ministry of the Interior announced.
The farm building is owned by two people from Sliven.
A lack of animals has been established from those declared to the State Fund “Agriculture” under interventions to support farmers raising animals related to production, under direct payments campaign 2023.
The case is being investigated.
