Swearing, threats and fights during and after the match between the youth teams of “Lokomotiv” (Pd) and “Heber” (Pazardzhik) scandalized the football public in both cities. The bosses of the “black and white” who hosted the meeting came out with positions on the excesses. Here is their message to fans
Dear Supporters,
Another round of the Elite Group under 16 took place last Sunday. At “Lauta” “Lokomotiv” deservedly defeated “Heber” with 4:1. But, unfortunately, that’s not what the meeting will be remembered for.
Throughout the entire 90 minutes, certain Heber parents (fans) kept yelling obscenities at almost every referee’s ruling, right or wrong. An impression was made by one particular person who, during the match, used insulting epithets both at the head referee and at the juniors of “Lokomotiv”! Inadmissible! In this connection, he several times entered into a verbal conflict with the parents of the hosts, he did not pay attention to the remarks of the guards.
After the meeting, at the entrance to the sports complex, he was asked why he insulted the children of “Lokomotiv” by our fan who attended the match. The person in question erupts with insults and verbal provocations, and according to witnesses of the incident, Yordan Minev, coach of “Heber” U16, did the same. The scandal escalated into a hand-to-hand fight, involving people sitting at the bars in the complex. In the end, there are two casualties, the main culprit of everything is hiding in the guests’ bus.
There were insidious actions even days after the meeting, as certain people from “Heber” spread the information that no one, namely the sports director Ilko Pirgov, who was a spectator of the match, had organized this fight! Absurd!
Dear parents, You are the ones who should be an example to your children! Be civil and respectful during your children’s matches! Football is just a game, not a war!
Attached is a video (18+) with short but telling moments from the match, where you will hear what it is all about. In the first seconds of the clip, you can hear threats and insults to one of our children.
