The weather will present us with a bunch of surprises today. In places there will be sun and high temperatures, in others – rain, fog and thunder.
During today’s day, the cloudiness will be broken, mostly significant over southern and eastern Bulgaria, where there will be light rain in some places, the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH) announced.
In the southeastern regions of the country, local, temporarily intense precipitation and thunderstorm activity are possible. It will blow to a moderate wind from the northeast, but in the evening it will gradually weaken. Atmospheric pressure is slightly higher than the average for the month and will remain without significant change.
The minimum temperatures will mostly be between 12° and 17°, and the maximum will be between 23° and 28°. In Sofia, the minimum temperature will be around 12°, the maximum – around 23°.
On the Black Sea, the clouds will be broken, mostly significant on the southern coast, where rain will fall in places. It will blow to a moderate northeast wind.
The maximum temperatures will be 24°-25°, close to sea water temperature. The excitement of the sea will be 3-4 points.
Over the mountains, the cloudiness will be mostly significant, but only in separate places in the Rhodope Mountains, Strandja and Sakar will it rain, it is also possible to thunder. A moderate to strong wind will blow from the east-northeast. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1200 meters will be about 15°, at 2000 meters – about 9°.
On Friday and Saturday, there will be scattered, mostly significant cloudiness over Eastern Bulgaria. There will be light rainfall in isolated places. The wind will be mostly weak, in Eastern Bulgaria from the northeast, to moderate. Prevailing maximum temperatures will be between 24° and 29°. The minimum – between 10° and 15°, along the Black Sea up to 18°.
