Kazakhstan supports anti-Russian sanctions. This was stated by Kazakh President Kassam-Jomart Tokayev after a meeting with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
Tokaev’s exact words were: “We unequivocally stated that we follow the sanctions regime.” He assured that Germany has no reason to worry about anything different from Kazakhstan regarding the sanctions against Russia.
“We have contacts with the relevant organizations. Any concerns on the part of the German side regarding actions aimed at circumventing the sanctions regime, it seems to me, should not exist,” added Tokaev.
