GERB-SDS mayoral candidate Anton Hekimyan revealed his first task for the capital, if elected.
“Completing the sewer construction projects is among my main priorities for Sofia. The halting of European programs in the last 2 years has delayed finished projects in the northern territories.
The construction of sewerage in the Benkovski quarter is fully ready for the project and its residents expect quick measures to stop the floods caused by the lack of rainwater sewerage,” said Anton Hekimyan – candidate for mayor of Sofia of the GERB-SDS .
Sofia is a huge city and the work to improve the urban environment must not stop. A year ago, four Sofia water supply projects – for “Pancharevo – Kokalyane”, “Kremikovtsi – Seslavtsi”, “Voluyak” and “Botunets”, worth BGN 250 million, were excluded from the Recovery Plan. In their place, the idea of building a battery plant was included. Yesterday this imaginary plant was removed from the Plan as unfeasible.
Sofia residents deserve an answer to the question of why Sofia projects were crossed out without any project readiness for another project. Can we now believe the pre-election concern of PP-DB for Sofia and their candidate Mr. Terziev, who wonders why there are still neighborhoods without sewage in Sofia? Those who used to scribble now have no eyes to draw,” added Hekimyan in a post he published on his personal Facebook profile.
