Delyan Peevski announced this in the National Assembly
“Today, together with GERB, we will propose to create a commission to control European funds, so that there are no such unintentional mistakes, everything will go through the parliament. We will carefully review these projects,” commented the DPS deputy Delyan Peevski on the sidelines of the parliament.
Yesterday, only a few hours after the Ministry of Finance announced that projects had been dropped from the Recovery Plan, GERB gave an extraordinary press conference, at which they warned that “billions are being given to strange companies”.
Deputy Delyan Dobrev announced that 1 billion 760 million euros “were given to companies that no one knows where and when they came from, how they participated in an auction and why they were chosen. This is not a scandal. This is an international scandal!”, snapped Dobrev.
“We spoke with GERB and Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov this morning, they claim that the mistake was unintentional and the assessment of the companies was formal. We hope so. We will check,” Peevski said this morning.
