An employee of TPP “Maritsa Iztok 2” exploded against the attempts of PP to liquidate the energy industry. In the documents attached to his letter, the company “METALIK” AD, owned by Dechko Kolev, one of the main sponsors of PP, stands out. MP Radoslav Ribarski was also an employee of Kolev.
Here is what the TPP employee wrote
A disgusted employee of the Maritsa Iztok 2 TPP is writing to you. They are about to liquidate our energy! Brutal and disgusting! The people for whom I also voted, and today I sprinkle ashes on my head! They have prepared a plan for a “just” transition, which they are about to to accept on Friday! According to him, Bulgaria should quickly close its coal plants at the expense of “prominent” investors who will be supported under the plan! Why “prominent”?
Because they are prominent sponsors of Continuing the Change.
The whole region knows that the owner of “METALIK” AD – Dechko Kolev, is the main sponsor of PP. His employee is MP Radoslav Ribarski from “Promyanata”! Apparently Mr. Ribarski has done his job very well and managed to secure for his boss the “modest amount” of 185 million euros under the plan for a “fair” transition! Ashkolsun, Rybarsky, ashkolsun “Change”! That’s how it’s done!
And we are told “close the plant, it was polluting”! There is nothing dirtier than your little hands that want to take our livelihood and the little remaining independence of Bulgaria, which is energy.
The following are documents from which it appears that green energy parks with already identified beneficiaries for hundreds of millions under the Recovery Plan are planned in place of the “Maritsa”. The majority of them are sponsors of “Continuing the Change”. Below them is the annex to the agreement with the EC on the early closure of the coal plants, signed by Asen Vasilev.
