CSKA continued their climb in the First League standings after achieving a fourth straight victory. At their “Bulgarian Army”, the Reds defeated “Lokomotiv” (Sofia) with 2:0.
Both goals were scored by Michael Estrada, who was accurate in the 40th and 45th minutes.
For the Ecuadorian, these were the first two goals with the Red team.
With the victory, the Reds climb to fourth place in the standings, collecting 21 points. The team of Nestor El Maestro is only one point less than the third “Levski”. For its part, Lokomotiv is 14th in the table and has lost for the fifth time in its last six games.
Before the break, CSKA had complete supremacy on the field, and could not find a way to the visitors’ goal for a long time. Only at the end of the first part, “Lokomotiv” made a mistake and allowed CSKA to take the lead.
In the 40th minute, after a corner, two defenders in black and white failed to clear the ball, it fell to Estrada, who scored with a strong shot from about five meters.

Just five minutes later, Estrada scored for the second time after a very bad mistake by Lokomotiv. Amos Yuga cleared the ball with a split that turned into a lead pass, and Estrada scored alone against the goalkeeper.
In the second half, CSKA continued to hold the ball, but there were no more chances. In the last 15 minutes, however, El Maestro’s players relaxed and allowed Lokomotiv to create several dangers. The visitors’ shots and last passes were not coming.
