After unusable missiles are donated, I have not heard that there is a condition to the Ukrainian side as to what to use them for. Because they can be modified and used for other purposes – ground. This type of missile can become unmanageable in the final stage of its flight, becoming inaccurate. If used in an urban environment, it becomes a weapon of terror. Bulgaria can be sued for non-fulfillment of an international treaty. This is what the leader of “Bulgarian Rise” Stefan Yanev told NOVA NEWS.
According to him, very wrong terminology was used in the debate about sending military aid to Ukraine. “The term defect means one thing, unfitness – another, and the possibility of their intended use is the result of a number of inspections by military personnel. Unfit for use means that during the inspection before combat use, they used deviations from the standards. The moral image of Bulgaria is important – lest it turn out that innocent citizens will suffer from our rockets,” he commented.
According to him, the MoD projects for the modernization of the army are years late. “The topic was neglected, the decisions are untimely,” Yanev believes.
“Bulgarian Rise” has nominated purely party candidates in a coalition and by supporting independent candidates for the local vote, he explained. “We are sufficiently widely represented throughout the country. Architect Violeta Komitova is our candidate for mayor of Sofia, she is a proven specialist who works not only in urban planning, but also in education,” he said.
