The new season in Bulgarian club basketball will be officially opened on October 1 (Sunday) with the match for the country’s Super Cup, which will pit the champion Balkan Botevgrad against the Bulgarian Cup winner Levski.
The date for the clash was changed several times, with the match originally scheduled to take place on the opening day of October, then moved a day earlier, but eventually returned to the original schedule of October 1.
According to the regulation, the host of this meeting will be the champion in the National Basketball League (NBL) Balkan Botevgrad, and so the battle will take place in “Arena Botevgrad” at 18:00.
The price of the ticket for the match will be BGN 10, and children under 12 will enter for free, announced the NBL.
Passes will be sold in the fan zone, which the hosts from Balkan will organize in the center of Botevgrad on the day of the meeting and will work between 10:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
One hour before the start of the clash for the Super Cup of Bulgaria in basketball, the ticket offices of “Arena Botevgrad” will be opened.
