Levski” and “Ludogorets” are at the top of a ranking that takes into account the supremacy of football teams over their rivals. The study was made by the International Center for Sports Studies (CIES), and the two Bulgarian clubs are ahead of teams such as “Bayern” (Munich), “Napoli”, PSG, etc.
The ranking is compiled based on the average efficiency ratio against opponents for four game actions: shots, shots in the penalty area, passes and passes in the opponent’s third.
On this basis, the coefficient of “Levski” is 3.31, and that of “Ludogorets” – 3.26.
It should be noted that “Levski” has played two matches more than “Ludogorets” – nine against seven.
Behind the Bulgarian teams are the Serbian team “Red Star” with 2.99, “Olympiakos” (2.90) and “Feyenoord” (2.78).
“Bayern” (Munich), which is sixth with 2.63, is first among the teams from the Top 5 championships in Europe. Only in such a list are “Napoli” (2.56), PSG (2.53), “Manchester City” (2.33) and “Barcelona” (2.16) behind the Bavarians.
Outside of Europe, the best ratios are registered for two teams from the Saudi Professional League – Al Hilal (2.29) and Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nasser (2.13).
