Bulgaria is in the quarter-finals of the European 3×3 Basketball Team Cup girls’ tournament, which is being held in Bratislava, Slovakia.
Our team consisting of Mina Vasileva, Valentina Veselinova, Emma Dincheva and Elena Dragoeva finished in first place in their group with three wins and one loss.
At the start of the tournament Bulgaria defeated Austria 14:11 and then recorded a dramatic success against Spain 15:14. It was followed by a loss against Italy with 9:11, and in its last match of the group, the team convincingly dealt with Romania with 22:13.
Bulgaria will face Hungary in the quarterfinals on Thursday.
