Since the beginning of September, the National Revenue Agency (NRA) has stopped more than 150 sites through which gambling games are organized by companies without a valid license, the agency reports.
The majority of operators have permission to develop their activities in countries outside the European Union, but not in Bulgaria, the press release states.
The sites have three days to cease their activity. If, after its expiration, the unregulated online platforms are available in Bulgaria and bets can be made through them by users in the country, the revenue agency threatens to refer the court.
Magistrates, in turn, will issue orders to ISPs to terminate access to the pages and their subdomains.
