Actor and rapper Nashawn Breedlove, known for his role in the movie “The Eighth Mile,” has died at the age of 46. Breedlove died in his sleep at his home in New Jersey on Sunday, according to TMZ.
“No one can deny his talent,” Breedlove’s mother wrote on Facebook. “Neshon’s departure from this world has left a huge void in my life – one that cannot be fully expressed in words. I cannot put into words the hurt and pain I feel. He was not just my son – he was a remarkable man , whose character and strength inspired all who met him.”

In the 2002 film based on the life of rapper Eminem, Breedlove played rapper Lotto, who takes on Eminem’s character in a rap duel. He also featured on the soundtrack of the 2001 film The Car Wash.
Rapper Mickey Facts remembered Breedlove as one of the few to “beat Eminem”. “We will miss you for your strength and aggressiveness,” he wrote on Instagram. “Nashon was so humble and humble that he didn’t even know he had real fans,” reads a comment under the post.
“The Eighth Mile” was a huge commercial success, also earning Eminem an Oscar for Best Original Song. The cause of Breedlove’s death is currently unknown, BTA writes.
