A driver hit a mother with a child on a footpath in Sandanski. The accident took place on “St. Stambolov” in the resort town.
A Renault Megan Scenic car, driven by a 75-year-old man from the city, did not stop and hit a 20-year-old woman who was pushing a stroller with a 1-year-old girl in it and was crossing the road on a pedestrian path.
After medical examinations, it was established that the woman suffered a concussion, and the child was unharmed. The sample made with a technical means for the presence of alcohol in the exhaled air of the car driver reported 0.35 per thousand.
He is being held on a 24-hour warrant. Pre-trial proceedings have been initiated in the case.
