“I see good signals. At the moment I am pushing them to run to get in shape. Many tactical mistakes are made, some of them forget the systems, which is normal at this stage. Everyone has been training for 10 days. Hristo Zahariev has a slight injury and he will be out for 2,3 days. So when he comes back, we will be able to integrate him into the team, fit in with the other players. There is still an awful lot of work to do. We must not forget that we are a new team. Levski is with the same line-up from last year, except for two players – Alex Simeonov and Maricheshki. They know each other, they have played together, in our team they are all new,” he continued.
“We will focus on the first team because we want to win the first game. One of the reasons I brought in players from Sweden is that when the draw was made, we knew which countries we were going to play. They have played in both countries, which I think that will be a big bonus for us. They have played against these teams. This will be the selection. The future is unknown. There are changes in every team during the season. The only one missing is Hristo Zahariev, our captain, who I have been waiting for for three years to play for me.
