Two people died and 44 were injured in accidents in the country during the past 24 hours, the Ministry of the Interior announced. There were 33 serious accidents.
Seven people were injured in road accidents in the capital. There were 22 light accidents, and five serious ones.
Since the beginning of the month, there have been 563 serious accidents in the country. 729 people were injured and 38 died.
Since the beginning of the year, 5,086 serious accidents have occurred, 6,683 people have been injured, and 383 have died.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs announced yesterday that 30 people were found to be driving after consuming alcohol and nine – under the influence of drugs.
