Due to the upcoming restructuring of the Executive Agency “Medical Supervision” (IAMN) and the separation of the Executive Agency for Transplantation into an independent structure, the Minister of Health, Prof. Hristo Hinkov, decided to change the leadership, reports the Ministry of Health.
Ivanka Dineva takes over the post of executive director of the IAMN, starting today, September 26, which until that moment was headed by Prof. Rosen Kolarov.
Ivanka Dineva has been working in the health care system since 2002. She started as a junior expert “economist” in the regional office of RZOK – Sofia capital and reached the position of chief expert. From 2008 to 2012, she successively held several positions in the Central Department of the NHIF – chief legal advisor, acting Head of the independent “Legal” department and Director of the “Legal” Directorate.
From 2012 to the beginning of 2017, he worked as a consultant in the private sector, a lawyer at the Sofia Bar Association, Advisor to the Minister of Health and Deputy Director of the National Health Insurance Fund in the period October 2015 – February 2017.
From May 2017 to December 2020, Dineva was an adviser to the Deputy Prime Minister on economic and demographic policy, and from December 2020 to September 2022, director of the Metropolitan Health Fund.
