The Ministry of Health referred the case to the prosecutor’s office regarding the sale of real estate of a two-story massive building /Manager’s Villa/, owned by “Specialized hospital for long-term treatment and rehabilitation of pneumophthiasis diseases “Sveta Petka Bulgarska” EOOD, town of Velingrad. This was announced by the press center of the Ministry of Health.
In his letter, the Minister of Health, Prof. Hristo Hinkov, demanded that the tender procedure be immediately terminated due to violations found in the announcement of the procedure.
The management and tendering actions of the hospital are already the subject of a prosecutor’s investigation. The Ministry has submitted all the necessary documents to the Prosecutor’s Office and until its ruling, the Ministry of Health cannot disclose additional data on the violations found.
We remind you that the state pulmonary hospital in Velingrad has sold an extremely profitable property with the blessing of the official cabinet. The decision was made on one of the last days of the “Donev” cabinet, “Bivol” reported.
The villa is located in the tourist part of the spa resort, has a built-up area of 132 square meters, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a dining area, a fully equipped kitchen and a terrace with a view of the mountains.
