German first division side Mainz 05 have signed free agent Josua Gilavogi until the end of the season, the Bundesliga club announced.
The contract with the 33-year-old French midfielder includes an option for another year.
Gilavogi played nine years at Wolfsburg, including a six-month loan spell at Bordeaux last year. He is a graduate of the Saint Etienne school, and has also played seven games for the French national team.
