On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative, on September 25th, the China Media Group and the United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean jointly organized a celebration of Chinese films at the Commission’s headquarters in San Diego, Chile. says Radio China.
During the event, works promoting the idea of a community of shared destiny and stories of the joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative were broadcast.
KMG Director Shen Haixun said in his welcome speech at the opening of the celebration that the Belt and Road Initiative has promoted investment, trade, industries and cultural exchanges between China and Latin America, bringing tangible benefits to local people. This – in his words – is also the reason why KMG held the holiday in Chile. The media is willing to work together with partners around the world to promote the One Belt One Road initiative through cinema.
