For today, forecasters announced a warning of the first degree – yellow code, for strong and violent gusts of wind in 10 areas, reported BTV.
The code is valid for regions of Eastern and Southern Bulgaria: Silistra, Dobrich, Shumen, Varna, Burgas, Sliven, Yambol, Haskovo, Kardjali and Smolyan.
There, the wind speed can reach 80-90 km/h.
For the Black Sea there is a warning of strong sea waves of 4 points. These are waves with a height of about 2.5 meters.
