The head of US diplomacy, Anthony Blinken, called in a telephone conversation with President Ilham Aliyev for Azerbaijan to honor its commitments to protect the civilian population in Nagorno-Karabakh and allow the access of humanitarian aid.

“The Secretary of State spoke again with President Aliyev today and emphasized the urgent need to end hostilities, ensure unconditional protection and freedom of movement for the civilian population, and ensure unimpeded humanitarian access to Nagorno-Karabakh,” the State Department spokesman told reporters. Matthew Miller, quoted by BGNES.
