I defend and stand behind every legitimate action of colleagues. Bulgarian police officers need self-confidence as guardians of order, Chief Commissioner Zhivko Kotsev said on Nova TV. This is how he commented on the case a week ago, in which a police officer shot an 18-year-old boy during a chase after a robbery, in which the boy died.

The accomplices of the dead boy have been arrested – their crime was not harmless. I don’t have data on imminent protection. The inspection will be completed very soon, added Chief Commissioner Kotsev.
