Georgiev mentioned the “digital revolution in urban transport”. According to him, there are already 20 million trips with electronic tickets.

In order to make Sofia accessible, we adopted the largest program for the construction of sidewalks – 14 times more, larger investments. It is also a decentralization model.
In order for Sofia to be a center of sports, we managed to carry out 5 procedures, so that 5 sports halls or huge sports complexes are currently being built or designed.
In order to make Sofia comfortable, we adopted the largest program for the construction of parking lots.
To keep Sofia young, we made the biggest investments in playgrounds. With the last wise decision of the SOS to accept the budget, they were increased from 3 to 4 million.
In order for Sofia to be a home of faith and hope, we have adopted the country’s first legal clinic for the protection of victims of domestic violence.
In order for Sofia to be for everyone, we created a new program for the integration of children with special educational needs, children on the autism spectrum, children with Down Syndrome. At the last meeting of the local parliament, we increased this budget by 50%. This program will continue after us.
In order for Sofia to be tidy, there are already over 450 movable objects that were removed, thanks to the new regulations that we adopted as a decision in the municipal council. It’s safer in the city because there are no hanging wires sticking out and parents can be more relaxed about their children.
To make Sofia safer, we have adopted a large-scale road safety program. Part of it grew into a legislative initiative – the traffic police will be given the opportunity to sanction offenders through the numerous municipal cameras. We’ve done a lot, and we have a lot more to do to make the city safe and people feel calm when crossing the streets.
