Bulgarian competitor Vladimir Zografski continued his dominance in the summer Grand Prix ski jumping circuit. On the small chance in Rashnov (Romania), the national won dramatically against Saturday’s winner Gregor Deschwanden (Switzerland).
Zografski led after the first attempt with 96m and 121.5 points, while the Swiss was second with 95.5 and 121.3 points. In the final jump, Deswanden achieved 102m for which he received 129.8 points. He came out on top with a total of 251.1 points. As the leader from the first attempt, Vladimir Zografsky jumped last. But the blacksmith once again demonstrated an enviable mentality, overcoming 97.5 m and receiving 130.5 points.
With a total of 252 points, he took his third win of the season on the Grand Prix circuit. Deschwanden was second with 251.1 points. Third was Remo Imhof (Switzerland) with 235.5 points (85.5 meters and 86.9 meters).
With his success, Zografski now has 500 t and leads convincingly in the general classification only 3 starts before the end of the circuit. Deshvanden is second with 414 points.
