Hekimyan’s candidacy shows that the authority of the political class in the eyes of the citizens is totally exhausted. A purely party candidate cannot, according to them, serve the mayor’s chair of the capital, even for a party like GERB.
I personally don’t mind the approach. Years ago, a similar strategy gave birth to Rumen Radev, who, I hope you will agree with me, emancipated himself from the party leadership of the BSP, with which all citizens won.
Anton Hekimyan is a much better chance for Sofia than Vasil Terziev, IF the candidate himself has the courage to stand up for his independence. However, this requires you to have a certain character, or, to put it another way, ***ki. Anton, whether there are any, I have no idea. I know that during his time, with the exception of the end of this period, i.e. the last three months, I was a frequent guest on the air of bTV, and my positions were not in favor of Borisov. Anton personally called me in the strongest period, when Radev raised his fist against Borisov.
Anton, I wish you the courage to realize, quickly, that your name is your only capital. If you sell it, you sell it. If not, everyone wins, including those who won’t vote for you. In big politics you always have to think about them too. Unfortunately, we won’t know what you will do in a month. In my opinion, the less you waste on promises, the more authority and support you will accumulate. Do what you can to stop their shenanigans. If you can’t stop them, you can expose them from a distance – you have some serious options here. I believe that you do not lack contacts among the media and analysts. I know that no one will believe you, but this approach, believe me, is the only one possible for you. Everything else equals failure, especially for you. It won’t be easy for you, but who knows – you can show character.
I wish you success!
