By decree, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko banned citizens of Belarus from importing, storing, selling, manufacturing and using drones.
This is indicated by the website of the head of state.
From the moment of the decree, only organizations and legal entities can use civil drones and that “business and professional activity”. To do this, they must obtain permission from the Aviation Department of the Ministry of Transport of Belarus.
Drones will be reported to a special state system.
Residents who already own drones will have to sell them to organizations within the country within six months or transfer them to a designated government-authorized organization.
Lukashenko cannot imagine that Putin is to blame
This comes after several incidents in recent years involving drones. The latest was in August, when the Ministry of Defense announced several attempts to break into protected facilities.
