From the words of the leader of the party, Boyko Borisov, it became clear that the choice is between six candidates. GERB-SDS kept the name of their candidate for mayor of the capital a secret until the last moment, and various names circulated in the public space – including the speaker of the parliament Rosen Zhelyazkov, and Boyko Borisov himself. The deadline for registration of candidates to participate in the local elections is tomorrow, September 26.
So far, Vasil Terziev, nominated by PP-DB, candidate of “Vazrazhdane” Deyan Nikolov, nominated by BSP Vanya Grigorova, candidate of ITN Ivaylo Valchev and nominated by VMRO Carlos Contrera are entering the battle for Sofia.
