The traffic on the main road E-79 between Simitli and Blagoevgrad is congested.
The most difficult is the section of road junction “Blagoevgrad-South”, where traffic is further complicated by the concrete blocks that merge the flows of cars from Greece, Sandanski and Melnik with those from Bansko, Dobrinishte and Gotse Delchev.
The time to pass this section takes about 30 minutes.
The traffic is also heavy in the area of the Kresnen Gorge.
The “Road Police” appeals to drivers to be patient and not to take risky maneuvers.
