For the second day in a row, the heat in Haskovo marks an absolute record in the entire more than 100-year history of weather measurements.
Shortly before 6:00 p.m., the thermometer in the southern regional center showed 36 degrees, the local hydrometeorological observatory said.
A temperature record has fallen in Haskovo
So far, on this day – the beginning of astronomical autumn, the highest value was recorded in 1943 – 35.3 degrees.
Yesterday in Haskovo, the mercury also reached a record level of 33.9 degrees, a tenth higher than the one measured in 1954 – 33.8 degrees. And for tomorrow, the forecast is for hot weather.
