Georgi Gramatikov finished in the prestigious 7th place at the Grand Slam in Baku, the Bulgarian Judo Federation announced.
In the category up to 81 kg. the native athlete achieved three victories – over Danil Zurbo (France), Jao Macedo (Brazil) and Vajid Borchiashvili (Austria), and in the semi-finals he lost to the future champion Zelim Tkaev (Azerbaijan).
