Atletico (Madrid) won the city derby against Real (Madrid) with 3:1 in the clash between them in the sixth round of the Spanish La Liga, played at the Metropolitano Stadium.
Curiously, all the goals for the winners came from headers, with Alvaro Morata (4′, 46′) on target twice and Antoine Griezmann (18′) once. Toni Kroos (35′) scored the honorable goal for Los Blancos, for whom this was the first defeat of the season after six consecutive successes.
So Real (Madrid) lost their first game of the season in La Liga. The team with 15 points is in third place in the provisional standings. Atlético is in fifth place with 10 points.
