Arsenal” and “Tottenham” ended in a 2:2 draw in the big derby of the sixth round of the Premier League. The two teams played a spectacular match at the Emirates Stadium.
The guests from “Tottenham” twice fell behind, but showed character.
Spurs’ Christian Romero scored an own goal in the 26th minute to give Arsenal the lead. At the end of the first half, however, parity was restored when Hyun Min Son equalized.
After the break, the two teams exchanged another goal within 60 seconds. Bukayo Saka scored in the 54th minute from a penalty, but already in the return attack, “Tottenham” equalized with Son’s second goal.
The two teams remain with equal points – 14 each, and have not yet lost since the beginning of the season. “Tottenham” is fourth with a better goal difference, and “Arsenal” is in fifth place.
At the same time, “Liverpool” achieved a 3-1 victory over “West Ham” at their stadium “Anfield”. Jurgen Klopp’s side took the lead in the 16th minute through Mohamed Salah’s penalty, but Jared Bowen equalized for the Hammers in the 42nd minute.
In stoppage time, Curtis Jones had a goal canceled out by the hosts, but after the break the Reds materialized their better play. Darwin Nunes scored in the 60th minute, and Diogo Jota scored in the 85th.
With the victory, “Liverpool” went to second place with 16 points, two less than the leader “Manchester City”.
