Interesting comments and assumptions of the former head of the NSO, Gen. Krasimir Stanchev.
“I can’t say I was a political appointee, it’s clear from the fact that I only spent 10 months as the head of the security service. I’m disappointed that the person who heads the service should be known to his employees, they they have seen him work in a real situation. He is not that kind of person,” said the former head of the National Security Service /NSO/ Gen. Krasimir Stanchev, on BTV.
“Services need the corresponding reform, it does not mean only to change the heads, but to reform them in a more working way. A great deal of leadership is concentrated in each service, and the aspiration of the lesser people is to grow and reach a higher floor of their development. The management team should shrink,” commented Gen. Stanchev.
According to him, there are always influences in these structures. He emphasized: “This balance does not exist. You saw how the change of the chief secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs took place. It came to arguments in the public space.”
According to Gen. Stanchev, it is possible that the killer of Aleksey Petrov was Bulgarian, studied and worked abroad
