Another Zepalyankov dispute broke out on social networks, caused by a blunder in a TV show.
The date September 23 remains in the history of Bulgarian football with two great matches between CSKA and Levski. At the first, in 1953, the “reds” crushed their eternal rival 5:0. On the second, in 1994, the “blues” defeated the great enemy 7:1.
Tonight’s “Diema Sport” studio after the match between Levski and Eter ended as follows. A photo of the scoreboard was shown on a large screen after the CSKA – Levski derby (1:7). The presenter emphasized the devastating victory of the “blues”, but did not say a word about that of CSKA. Moreover, today the battle of 1953 has an anniversary – it is 70 years since it took place.
All this angered football fans in red to no end, who heated up social networks. Why did the sports show producer forget one of the two big wins? Because maybe he is a big lefty or because he doesn’t know football history. In fact, the correct answer is in both assumptions, writes Blitz Sport.
