One of the leaders of PP/DB Kiril Petkov made a key statement on important political issues in the country.
DPS are not part of the assembly, but we can’t be mad at them as long as they support our priorities.
This was stated to NOVA by the co-chairman of “We continue the change” Kiril Petkov.
What we see as a request from DPS is that they support these reforms. Why, how and what – these are questions for them.
If they have decided, supporting our priorities for the rule of law, to take it as some kind of PR credit, that is their right. Our goal is to monitor that the priorities we have set are followed,” commented the former prime minister and continued:
“Unfortunately, this is how the regulations were made, that when you need 160 deputies, you must have 160 deputies. If we want to carry out the reform that we have been dreaming about so much, in the judiciary, there must be 160 deputies”.
In his words, “Vazrazhdane” are absolutely destructive – “we don’t even have any room for conversation with them”.
“The ITNs are also absolutely destructive. Even now, when they stand together, I can’t tell them apart – what is “Vazrazhdane” and what is the ITN, I’m already losing track. So whether we want it or not, we have to get to these 160 deputies Petkov added.
“Unfortunately, again first foreign services had to discover that we have another spy in Bulgaria. And then our services reactively did what they did,” said the co-chairman of the PP.
According to him, it is an oversight by DANS that Archimandrite Vasian and the other two officials of the Russian Church were expelled only now, and not earlier.
North Macedonia cannot have better information about Russian spies in Bulgaria than our services,” he emphasized, recalling that the RSM declared the archimandrite a Russian spy.
