All the unknowns regarding the candidates for the local elections should have ended on September 26, explained the Deputy Chairperson of the CEC Rositsa Mateva to “Darik Radio”.
Next Tuesday is the deadline for submitting absolutely all candidate lists to the municipal election commissions.
58 parties and 9 coalitions are registered to vote, and today is the deadline for submitting changes to local coalitions.
In the CEC, they do not report a particular difference with the interested parties and candidates compared to 2019.
In the sections with more than 300 voters, voting will be done both on paper and by machine. With both, voters will have the right to vote en masse across the country with three types of ballots. Only in Sofia, in several settlements that are town halls, voting will take place with 4 ballots. The voter must choose and know whether he will vote for the mayor of a municipality, for municipal councilors, for the mayor of a town hall in settlements that are town halls, and in Sofia – whether he will vote for the mayor of a district.
