Barcelona won their fifth consecutive La Liga game after producing an impressive comeback against Celta to win 3-2. The Catalans were two goals down until the 81st minute but still took the three points.
With five wins from their first six matches and one draw, the Catalans are the leader with 16 points, the same as Girona. Xavi Hernandez’s team, however, has a game more than “Real” (Madrid), which has 15 points.
“Celta” played strongly at the Olympic Stadium in Barcelona and caused big problems for the hosts. Jørgen Strand Larsen opened the scoring in the 19th minute, and Anastasios Douvikas scored in the 76th after an assist from captain Iago Aspas.
It was after the exit of Aspas that “Barcelona” became active and reached a memorable turn.
This happened within eight minutes. In the 81st minute, Robert Lewandowski managed to break away from the defense of the guests and reduced. Just five minutes later, the Pole scored with a spectacular cross from a small angle.
The turnaround happened in the 89th minute with a goal by the Portuguese Joao Cancelo.
