A total of 16 people were injured on Sunday morning when a light delivery vehicle rolled off the N11 near the Elandslaagte exit outside Ladysmith in KwaZulu-Natal.
Shawn Herbst, spokesperson for ER24, says emergency services were on the scene at approximately 8:30 a.m. where the vehicle was found in a field.
“Paramedics examined the patients and found that seven people were in a critical condition, while nine had suffered mild to moderate injuries.
“The patients were treated at the scene and the critically injured patients were provided with advanced life support before being taken to Ladysmith Provincial Hospital for further treatment.”
