Farmer Francois, the ostrich farmer from Oudtshoorn in the Western Cape, and the dark-haired Vanessa in Thursday night’s episode of Farmer looking for a wife show that they are madly in love.
Francois and Vanessa vacationed with the rest of the participants in season 15 of this popular series at the Ilita Lodge in Groot-Brak near Mossel Bay.
They also took part in different activities such as bungee jumping and speed boating.
Francois was the past week in the news after it was revealed that he had been charged with assault in December 2013.

However, the other farmers joked on the holiday that Vanessa’s love made Francois look years younger.
“I’ve grown a goatee in the meantime and I’m very surprised with everyone who tells me I look younger than I did before,” laughed Francois.
Farmer Philru arrived at the farmers’ holiday without the timid Lané, while farmer Louis M did not arrive with Anja, but with another brunette guest.
“At first it was difficult to arrive here alone, but everyone helped me fit in. Lané is a very cute girl, but I just didn’t feel anything,” said Philru.
He revealed that he is in love with another girl he met on social media. “I have to say it’s going well.” However, this girl could not experience the holiday.

Farmer Louis M did arrive with a dark-haired girl by his side, but it was not Anja – whose parents he visited in the previous episode in the Cape -.
Johanrie, the girl he arrived with in Mossel Bay, is one of the women he met at the beginning of the season during the speed dating in the Cape.
“I chose Anja and I don’t regret it for a moment. We had special times together, but as things progressed, I experienced too much pressure from outside to find a bride.”
Farmer Louis B and Rachie arrived together and clearly had a blast. While they are very playful with each other, they have also discussed serious future plans.
“I’m not going to drop you off at home again. Your bags are going to the farm with me,” Louis jokingly told Rachie.

Hennie and Eloïse also looked very much in love during the holiday, even though Eloïse revealed that Hennie had not yet officially asked her out.
“I think I still tend to hold back a little and not immediately jump into a relationship. If I commit I go all out. I’m too afraid to go all out and hurt someone in the process.
“We both have the feeling and we’re still going to make an effort, regardless of whether we’re in a relationship or not. That’s where we stand at the moment, time is important.”
