From April 6 to 10, Christians can experience the world of ancient Jerusalem and witness the story of Jesus Christ on the big screen.
The Thorna visually stunning and powerfully emotional theatrical portrayal of Jesus’ life, death and resurrection, is showing for the first time at selected theaters in South Africa during the Easter weekend.
This is definitely not just your average passion game. The Thorn features a dazzling combination of performing arts, aerial acrobatics and breath-taking shows that have been mesmerizing audiences across the US for nearly two decades.
The Thorn has a large cast of both professional and volunteer artists who share the heart of the message. It just adds more depth and authenticity to this timeless true story. Thus the actors give life to the unforgettable story of love, sacrifice and redemption.
The film follows Jesus’ journey from his birth to his miraculous teaching, his arrest, crucifixion and finally his resurrection. The result is a captivating experience that makes you laugh, cry and stir you to the core.
