Nicholis Louw enters the Rhewal Afrikaans Top-20 this week in 19th place with his brand new single, “Coco Pops en kaas”.
According to Nicholis, the combination of these two types of food is not as unusual as it sounds. It is precisely this strange combination that inspired him to write and record a song.
Barto and Marissa’s song, “Ons twee kög”, which last week was the no. 1 position, falls to tenth place this week.
Barto’s single, “Impulsief”, holds the no. 1 position, while his hit track “H2Oë” is in sixth place.

New Launches:
An optician from Centurion in Pretoria takes a chance on his music dreams with his debut single, “Die son kom op”.
The song was written during the Covid-19 period and serves as a beacon of hope and light for those who need it. This is how Tiaan Massyn tells in a recent interview with Rhewal.
Another new launch this past week is “My wolf” by Hansie Roodt. His spiritual leader and father-in-law, Jannie Pelser, as well as Hansie’s father, who has already passed away, inspired the lyrics of the song, “Die wolf”, which he also dedicates to his own son.
Other songs that have been released are Vanuitstof’s “Ek haal asem”, Armand Hofmeyr’s “Partytjie slaap reiter”, Bernice’s “Geded”, Chris Spies’ “End of the Omega”, Johan van Schalkwyk’s “Difficult peace”, Werner Olckers’ “Selfbeheer”, Wilma van Heerden’s “Sysoen”, Nicholis Louw’s “Coco Pops en kaas” and Simoné Roets’ “Skete”.
