It took the police in KwaZulu-Natal just over 24 hours to make a breakthrough in an incident in which six people were shot dead on Saturday evening.
“The six people, including two sisters, were found dead on Sunday morning when the police were called to the scene in Entabeni in Umbumbulu,” says col. Robert Netshiunda, spokesperson for the police. “Four bodies were found in one room, one person was lying next to the house and a sixth person was found a few meters from the house.”
The police immediately launched an investigation.
“An 18-year-old suspect was arrested on Monday. He is suspected of being responsible for the six people’s deaths.”
Netshiunda says drugs were found in the house.
The man will appear in court soon. The police investigation continues. More arrests cannot be ruled out.
