Your mood can be affected by the smells around you, which is why there’s simply nothing better than smelling great.
Fragrances can affect your confidence, concentration and even your dreams. Furthermore, it can improve your mood and even have an effect on productivity precisely because one’s brain anatomy strongly connects your sense of smell with your long-term memory. This is also why smells and certain flavors can evoke strong emotions.
This is also why the Elizabeth Arden team wanted to create a real feast for the senses at the Inimitable wedding venue in Zwartkops, Muldersdrift, with the launch of their White Tea perfume on Wednesday.
Here, guests were given the opportunity to once again experience the simple joy of taking a moment for yourself and enjoying it to the fullest.
Guests first had the opportunity to take a journey with sound. Afterwards, everyone could indulge in the scents of the White Tea collection which includes vanilla orchid, wild rose, mandarin blossom and ginger lily. Once you chose your favorite scent from the range, you could listen to music that represented that perfume.
Tara Cabion, a motivational speaker and certified practitioner who focuses on breathing techniques (breathwork), also showed guests how your breathing can change one’s mood.

The White Tea perfume
The designers of the original White Tea Eau de Toilette series wanted to create a richer concentration of the popular fragrance with the latest perfume. VivaScentz technology was harnessed to exploit the link between scents and well-being to create the perfume.
The heart of White Tea is rose, both in the rare forms of rose oil and recycled rose water, jasmine leaves and hand-harvested mate leaves (mate absolute) from South America. The scent is rounded off with a base note of sun-dried Venezuelan tonka bean that releases amber wood and a trio of calm musk scents.

The end of the fragrances combined in the perfume create a fresh, lively floral scent that has a lingering warmth and offers you a moment of blissful escape.
This perfume is now available online and at leading pharmacies and stores nationwide.
What is the difference between eau de toilette and eau de parfum?
Eau de toilette usually contains about 8 to 15% fragrance oil that lasts about four to six hours, compared to eau de parfum that contains types 15 to 30% and can last up to eight or even ten hours.

Elizabeth Arden, born Florence Nightingale Graham on December 31, 1884 in Woodbrigde in Ontario, Canada, is described as a beauty pioneer. She opened her first Red Door salon on Fifth Avenue in New York in 1910. Today, her beauty brand is internationally known and has helped change the face of beauty products forever.
She firmly believed that make-up is not just something that a woman paints over her face. For her, it was rather an intelligent interplay between science and nature that is used to emphasize a woman’s best natural assets. She lived by her own motto:
“To be beautiful is the birthright of every woman.”
Arden died on 18 October 1966 in New York, USA. Only after her death did the public find out that she was already 81 years old. She kept her age a secret to create the impression of timeless beauty.
With hard work and skill, Arden built her company into a recognized and one of the most successful brands in the world. At her death, Arden had already opened more than 100 beauty salons worldwide and had a range of approximately 300 cosmetic products.
Elizabeth Arden’s brand currently belongs to Revlon, an American cosmetic company, which bought it in 2016 at a value of $870 million (R15 481 million).
