“When He comes, the Spirit of truth, He will guide you into all truth.” (Johannes 16:13)
Something I have wondered about a lot: We know that God only wants the best for us and that He only plans good for us and not bad. Yet, when we hear the voice of the Holy Spirit within us, we do not always allow that voice to guide us.
It’s almost as if we have a fear, that “what if” that gets a foothold in our heart. Ironically, that “what if” is the exact opposite of faith, hope, certainty. Just as fear is exactly opposite to love and doubt is opposite to truth.
There is no doubt in God’s truth. He is the “I am”. From Him no lie can come. He promises in his Word that He KNOW what He plans for us.
Take that “what if” today and give it to the Lord in exchange for his “I know” and begin to prophesy truth and life about yourself, your relationships, your family, your health and your business.
Live so in touch with the Holy Spirit that you can feel Him like God’s breath on your cheek. When you hear his voice, obey it without question, without doubt, just trusting in God’s love and his plan for your life. Believe it and follow it.
Fear will always take you in an opposite direction to God’s truth, HIS thoughts and dreams concerning you. Let the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of truth guide you into God’s truth. There is an inner strength, an immovability, which cannot be described in words, when you surrender yourself totally to the Lord.
It takes a lot of faith, but it will change your life in ways you couldn’t have imagined possible in your wildest dreams.
