The LORD gives strength to those who are tired. He makes the powerless strong. Even young people get exhausted and jaded. Many young people stumble and fall. But those who put their hope in the LORD will find new strength. They fly high, like eagles. They will run and not tire. They will walk and never tire. (Isaiah 40:29-31)
One of the best ways to prevent burnout is to take time to be quietly with God. When you have too much hay on your fork, you tend to neglect your alone time with God.
When you draw closer to God, you can draw on his strength, strength, peace, protection and love. Make time every day to think about God’s Word and other books that challenge you to grow spiritually. When you focus on God’s priorities, your own priorities will become clearer to you.
How can you make time in your busy schedule to be quiet with God?
