Emotions ran high in Thursday night’s episode of Farmer looking for a wife when this year’s farmers each had to choose the final woman to stay with him on the farm for the time being.
Farmer Louis M asked Anja to stay longer with him on his game farm in Bela-Bela in Limpopo. He sent Laurette – who earlier told presenter Marciel Hopkins that his attack towards him and Anja left her constantly confused – home.
“I think the fact that he touched each of us confused even his friends and family. You get to a point where you’re over it,” Laurette said about her experience.
In the Western Cape, farmer Hennie asked Eloise to visit the farm longer.
“Now I can breathe and go eat something,” a delighted Eloïse said after his decision.

“I think you have to be open-minded about these things, you prepare yourself for good news and disappointment,” Rachelle said to Marciel after saying goodbye to Hennie.
According to farmer Philru, the previous day’s alone time helped him decide who would stay longer with him on his farm in Petrus Steyn in the Free State.
“The conversation flowed easily, it felt as if we could talk to each other about anything,” he said about his choice to let Lané visit the farm longer.

“Are you ready for the adventure,” was Lané’s teasing response to Philru’s decision.
According to Sumari, she also has peace in her heart about his choice. “It didn’t seem like it was a difficult decision for him. I’m happy for him.”
In an unexpected twist, farmer Francois was greeted for the second time by one of the women on his farm.
Rhewal it reported earlier that Lizelle, one of the three women who would initially visit Francois’s ostrich farm for the week, decided to leave when she arrived.
“I met someone else before I came to the farm. We were just friends before, and in the meantime the relationship has developed into something more,” Lizelle explained to Francois and Marciel at the time.
In Thursday night’s episode, Lorinda also decided to facilitate farmer Francois’ choice and decided to leave the farm herself.
“Thank you for treating us both so well, I’m going to say goodbye. I don’t think I see any chance of continuing,” a tearful Lorinda told Francois.
According to Lorinda, she could see from day two on the farm that Francois and Vanessa had a close bond. “I didn’t want to feel humiliated if he said something that we both actually already know.”
At farmer Louis B, Rachie was asked to stay longer and Cherecé was asked to leave the farm.
“He said he is looking for a woman who can evoke this indescribable feeling in him and if she is the one who gives him that, then I am very happy for him. My person is still coming,” Cherecé said about Louis’ decision.
Farmer looking for a wife can be seen every Thursday evening at 20:00 on kykNET, DStv channel 144. It also airs on CatchUp.
