Kurti causes trouble with declarations of war – the American company contacts Kosovo
The former chairman of the Chamber of Commerce of Kosovo, Berat Rukiqi, has said that the statements that there may be a war in Kosovo are damaging the public image in the eyes of foreign investors. He says that an American company, which had plans to invest in Kosovo, contacted him, expressing concern about the news they are reading in the world media.
Rukiqi refers to the statements of Prime Minister Albin Kurti, who said today that there is a risk of a new war in Kosovo.
“The spread of the opinion, in the global media, that there may be a war in Kosovo, does not bring any benefit to Kosovo. Companies interested in investing in Kosovo, among them an American company that plans to open a branch in Kosovo, in the coming months, have contacted me in the last few days, concerned by what they have read,” he said.
He adds that Kosovo, even without these statements, has an image as a place of conflict and high political risk, which affects the lack of interest in investments.
Kosovo, even without these statements, has an image of a country of conflict and high political risk, which has scared many companies to invest in Kosovo. It is not useful now to nurture this perception any further.
